Usually by this time of year, I find myself singing “Spring, spring, spring, wonderful, wonderful springtime!” and breaking out into a series of tra la las. This has just not happened yet this year. If you live in Southern Ontario, you probably know why.
It’s very cold. And it’s very wet. And we’re just not accustomed to such weather in mid-April.
Thankfully, flowers help to assuage my this-is-not-spring-what-the-heck-we’re-not-in-North-Bay blues. Here is the first of two arrangements-experiments, you might say-that remind me that spring is INDEED COMING.
Flowers are already beautiful, but the effect is nearly mind blowing when flowers are worn by sweet little girls and lovely young ladies. Check out these shots by Meg-your heart just might melt. I am so glad she asked me to make these flower crowns. And isn’t Meg talented?!
